Tips on correctly completing a show entry form (VPFA sanctioned show)
- If you are entering an "annual show", or a "young bird show", you will need to be a member of "Poultry Stud Breeders and Exhibitors Victoria" (PSB&EV), which is a division of the Victorian Poultry Fanciers Association Ltd.
- PSB&EV will send you standard entry forms each year when you renew your membership. If you have run out of entry forms - an entry form (in PDF and word format) is inserted below which can be completed. The word doc can be edited and printed.
- Use a new line for each exhibit/entry, even if you have more than one bird entered in the same class.
- Complete both sides of the entry form. The club retains a copy, and you are given one copy on arrival at the show.
- The club fills in the pen numbers when all entries are allocated, and you fill in the class numbers.
- Quote your VPFA number, so that there is no confusion about you being a member.
- Read the headings carefully, and complete as asked.
- Cocks, hens, drakes, and ducks are birds 12 months or older. Cockerels, pullets, young ducks, and young drakes are under 12 months of age.
- Memberships may be in the name of one person, a partnership, or even a stud name if you wish.
